1. Scope

Jaw & Body is a multilingual knowledge base and shop. This policy is written as a general privacy notice for visitors and customers wherever they are located. Where local law gives you additional rights or requires a country-specific notice, those requirements apply in addition to this policy.

2. Information we process

Depending on how you use the Site, we may process the information you choose to provide, including:

Please do not include health information or other sensitive personal information in an order note or message unless we specifically ask for it.

  • your first and last name, email address and phone number;
  • country, postal code, region, city and delivery address;
  • order details, quantity and any optional order note;
  • your email address, language preference and a limited record of consent when you subscribe to article updates;
  • messages you send to us; and
  • limited technical information needed to operate, secure and improve the Site, such as browser, device and log data.

3. Why we use information

We use personal data only where it is relevant to the interaction you initiated. This includes responding to you, reviewing and fulfilling an order request, arranging delivery, confirming price and payment options, providing order updates, sending article updates you have separately confirmed, preventing misuse of the Site and meeting applicable record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell personal data or share it for third parties' independent marketing.

4. Legal grounds

Depending on the circumstances and the law that applies to you, we process personal data with your consent, to take steps connected with an order you request, to meet legal obligations, or for legitimate interests such as Site security, fraud prevention and service administration. You may withdraw consent when consent is the relevant basis; this does not affect processing completed before withdrawal.

5. Service providers and sharing

We may use carefully selected service providers for hosting, technical support, communications, delivery and, when enabled, payment processing. They receive only the data needed to perform their service and must handle it under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. A payment provider processes payment information under its own privacy terms; Jaw & Body does not store full payment-card details.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to protect people, prevent fraud, enforce our rights or comply with a valid legal request.

6. International processing

The Site and its service providers may process information in more than one country. When information is transferred across borders, we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the transfer and the services involved. Data-protection rules vary by location, so the safeguards available may differ from those in your country.

7. Retention and security

We retain personal data for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose described above, including order administration, customer support, dispute handling and legal record-keeping. Article-update subscriptions remain active until you unsubscribe; after that, we keep only the minimum record reasonably needed to respect that choice and handle related requests. We then delete or anonymise data where practical.

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal data. No online system can promise absolute security, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through the Site.

8. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Every article-update email includes a direct unsubscribe link. You may also have the right to raise a concern with a competent data-protection authority in your place of residence or work.

To make a request, use the contact channel published on the Site and include enough information for us to identify the relevant order or message. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site may use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep pages functioning, remember necessary settings and protect the Site. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect the way parts of the Site work.

10. Children

The Site is not intended for children who cannot lawfully provide consent under the rules that apply to them. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal data from children through the order flow.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Site, our services or legal requirements change. The current version is published on this page with its revision date.

12. Contact

For privacy questions or requests, email info@jawandbody.com. Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant order, subscription or message; we may need to verify your identity before responding.
