It has finally happened. The 2018 Football World Cup has begun in Russia, bringing huge numbers of famous footballers from around the world. Today, Argentina’s star Lionel Messi will take the field at Moscow’s Spartak stadium. He is famous not only for becoming one of the best footballers of our time and of all time, but also for often vomiting before important matches. Let us see whether it happens today, but right now let us work out why it happens and how the famous footballer could be helped, as the Starecta team sees it.

This is something FC Barcelona’s medical staff do not yet know. It is no secret that Lionel Messi regularly vomits before important matches, although he insists it is a trivial matter that does not affect his play. Moreover, the footballer admitted that vomiting before important events has always been completely normal for him. Fine, let that be so, but the question remains open: why does Messi vomit before important matches? Why does he vomit even on the pitch? Why has he not won FIFA Ballons d’Or for the third year running? Why is his playing performance declining? And is there a connection with his vomiting problem?

The famous footballer’s fans are increasingly worried; his club gives no explanation, and no doctor can solve the problem. But the problem is serious. After all, we are talking about one of the most talented professional footballers of all time. If Messi does not recover his former performance in the coming years, this could fundamentally change the position of invincible Barcelona. Last year already, because of Messi’s condition, Barcelona played worse than Real. So is there a connection between this situation and the increase in the footballer’s vomiting attacks?

It seems nobody knows the true causes of this vomiting. Everyone has become used to treating it like a cold, but something is clearly wrong: vomiting on the pitch is not normal, and the situation is fairly dangerous. Journalists, commentators and the star’s fans believe that ‘Messi’s problem must certainly be psychological’. Yes, they say it is a psychological problem. After all, when you do not know the true cause of an illness, you tend to attribute it to psychology. That is, if you do not know what it is, the illness must have a psychological cause! Absurd. In the twenty-first century, it is ridiculous that psychology is still considered an explanation for every unknown illness. It is also absurd because the fate of a great man and an excellent team depends on such a superficial diagnosis!

The solution to Messi’s problem is elementary (‘yes, my dear Watson’). The reason Messi vomits is visible to everyone with the naked eye, but in fact nobody has looked closely at it. Do you want to know what it is?

The reason Messi vomits is that he is not straight! You read that correctly. Now look at his face — look closely:

In the photograph you can see that Messi’s skull is literally bent and clearly ‘falls’ to the left. You can notice this from two clues:

— the footballer’s left eye is noticeably lower than his right (see the blue line);

— his nose is tilted and points to the right (see the red line).

But why is Messi not straight? Why is the left side of his face shorter than the right? Why has the left side shifted downward? The left side of his face is so deformed for the simple reason that the muscles on that side are shorter than those on the right. In turn, this is because this man’s jaw is not biomechanically balanced. Put simply, the teeth on the left side of his dental arch have less height than those on the right. That is precisely why Messi’s skull tends to ‘fall’ to the left. Fine, everyone can easily understand this, since the photographs speak for themselves, but what does it have to do with vomiting?

So we have learned that Messi has a crooked body (skull deformities are transmitted through the muscles involved in swallowing to the structures below, deforming the body in the same way). But how does that relate to the player vomiting on the football pitch? The point is that in a crooked body, all the muscles, internal organs, nerves and arteries are under compression! They are not arranged in a healthy order as in a straight, symmetrical body. Now imagine how, in a crooked body, these powerful muscle bundles contract around the stomach under stress before a major important match.

This happens because, during a stressful event, mental tension affects the body’s muscles, contracting them. This is how psychological traumas affect the body in terms of muscular tension. In fact, a human body under tension shortens all its muscles. Among these shortened muscles are also the muscles and nerves surrounding the stomach. That is why Messi vomits: muscles shortened by tension prevent his stomach from functioning normally.

Of course, with a straight, symmetrical body, emotional stress would not cause vomiting. But Messi is rather crooked. And his unbalanced lower jaw affects the rest of his body as well. This means not only the left side of his face is shorter, but the entire left side of his body. Guess where the stomach is? Correct — on the left!

Perhaps you think that the intensely trained muscles in Messi’s crooked body could not affect his stomach? When nerves and muscles are in a tense spasm before a serious competition, do you think they cannot interfere with normal stomach functioning in a crooked body? In that case you really are naïve. Let us try extending Messi’s career and crushing Real! What we are about to discuss is not a standard doctor’s prescription or an ordinary boring theory for curing a cold. The Starecta team presents a revolutionary discovery that changes the sporting performance of anyone who uses this method.

Imagine someone like Messi, already at the top — what could he achieve? With this discovery he could achieve ideal posture and finally solve his vomiting problem. Let us examine his case in more detail.

At the beginning of this article we drew your attention to the fact that Messi’s face is shorter on the left because his teeth on that side do not have enough height. This cranial deformity can be eliminated and the body brought upright using a ‘tool’ that can artificially add tooth height on the left. In this way Messi’s face can become completely symmetrical again. Put simply, it is like placing a book beneath the shorter leg of a table. So the ‘tool’ must be placed in Messi’s mouth and used according to a particular method to return the skull to its central axis. This change in the mouth would affect Messi’s entire body.

Let us examine this path step by step, in simple terms for non-specialists:

1) the facial muscles on the left (currently shortened) will stretch, while those on the right (currently stretched) will shorten. The end result is that the face returns to symmetry;

2) the imbalance in Messi’s face, with shortened muscles on the left, has over many years caused changes throughout his body as well, making its left side shorter and more tense. Through the method described, Messi’s body would return to perfect balance. The left side would thus stretch in a balanced relationship with the right, and the entire body would finally reach its optimal length;

3) among all the shortened, tense muscles on the left side of his body are also the muscles and nerves surrounding the footballer’s stomach. Starecta guarantees that the muscles and nerves surrounding the stomach will be decompressed and returned to their optimal length. Thus the athlete’s stomach will function normally even under emotional stress;

4) so let us imagine that, as a result of this process, Messi no longer vomits and Barcelona wins the championship!

Why does no doctor know this truth? Because this discovery was made only very recently (this article was written by Starecta founder Moreno Conte in 2014, and by the present time — June 2018 — this method had already been recognised by the scientific world).
