This article presents a Russian-language Rectifier splint review from one of our regular VKontakte readers, followed by translated accounts from people using Starecta. According to the author, the people whose names and photographs appear here gave Moreno Conte permission to publish them.
A Review in Russian
I consider this review the most valuable, because we can read hundreds of reviews by foreigners, but for us it still is not quite the same. We are often rather closed in the sense that we traditionally protect our health from other people’s eyes, especially when changes are positive. So I am grateful to this person for agreeing to share his impressions. Naturally, I publish his review anonymously, but guarantee he is a real person. His vegetative-vascular dystonia and health problems, like those of many readers of this blog, began after dental intervention — specifically, braces. When he wrote this review, he had worn the splint for a month. Allow for the fact that he typed quickly: you know how much autocorrect mangles words in such cases. I will also give a few explanations of some points discussed.

This refers to the article on what happens during orthocraniodontic and Starecta treatment and what to expect in order to be prepared (briefly, it is like very slow surgery without anaesthesia, during which the body begins healing itself, but such restructuring uses a great deal of energy, and movements of bones, muscles and the nerves beneath them are, to put it mildly, not the most pleasant process). Regarding splint height, we discussed what to do if a very large space has to be created between the upper and lower teeth (that can happen), but at present this young man is fine in that respect.
The account below concerns the individually made Tailored Rectifier, a separate device from Rectifier Plug & Play.

Previously this young man had been treated by different specialists, including a craniodontist, without relief. So he is disappointed in orthocraniodontics altogether, saying only Starecta really helps. I completely disagree with him about orthocraniodontics, since I consider it the treatment of the future. The other matter is that we still have very few high-level specialists: you may run into a ‘partly educated scholar’, ideally without an inflated ego, capable of acknowledging the limits of their knowledge and their mistakes — and I write about this everywhere (I will soon also translate the reflections of the well-known Italian craniodontist Stefanelli on this subject). But what I completely agree with this young man about is that Italy’s Starecta method is, without exaggeration, a revolution.
As for the intriguing ‘little pits’ provided during Starecta Rectifier registration, these refer to the so-called ‘effect of creating Gerber’s bilaterally balanced occlusion with condyle-shaped teeth’: chewing grooves and palatal cusps on the splint surface (more about this in the middle of this article, after the picture of Archimedes lifting the skull :). This is what makes the splint unique: these cusps and grooves (tooth impressions) are needed to transmit a neuromuscular signal into the body. This is what is happening to the person who left the review, and I am sincerely happy about such changes after just a month using the method. I hope his impressions were informative and useful for you too.
Reviews Translated from English
As a bonus to our compatriot’s review, here are further accounts of the method by Starecta users (as I have said, the method’s founder has permission to publish their names and photographs). The first review is by a woman with serious spinal damage, so while reading, do not be surprised at her delight at doing the simplest things that we often never even think about.

Day 9: Good morning! I have just got up and opened the curtains in my room myself (I had never done that, never dared, and usually waited for my parents to wake up in case I needed help or my neck twisted). I also walked to the bathroom myself, washed the sink and got my iPad — I had not done that before either. I will write more.
Below is her review from the previous day.

Day 8: I spent almost the whole day without my neck collar. I spent some time removing the old resin from the splint (this means the old Tailored Rectifier). I will definitely need to buy some protection (some eye goggles and a clamp for the splint while I use a drill). I stood independently in the bathroom for 10–15 minutes, washing my toothbrushes and accessory cups. I also changed my clothes while standing independently. I stood looking at myself a little longer. I stood until my legs felt unsteady and my gait slightly awkward, so I decided it was time to rest. But usually my neck was the reason I had to sit down, and my heart would already have begun pounding. None of that happened while I stood. And it was like that all day.
Judging by the surname, the review below seems to be by a compatriot living abroad. I have not corresponded with him personally, but anyone interested could probably write to him.

A life hack for users: before putting in the splint, make sure your teeth are well cleaned. I ate almonds and pieces got stuck in the splint. I removed them with a toothpick, but it is better to avoid this altogether.
Valerio (one of Starecta’s founders), I hear you, dude, I work in products and this happens often. Sometimes people have unrealistic expectations of a product, but really, your product is simply beyond what can be expected of it.

Moreno’s back is not ‘too straight’; it only looks that way because he does not have a Kardashian backside. It is the physiological curve your own body creates. Starecta is a tool that creates conditions in which the body ‘puts everything in place’ itself. And YES — ultimately your body corrects itself. And these are the correct curves and posture.
If you have been in an extreme car accident and your skeleton is completely, unimaginably destroyed, it will not work. But in every other case you will regain your absolutely normal posture.
I was like Moreno in the first photo, and everything began correcting incredibly on the very first day. It is unbelievable how much changed in just three days. I am straightening faster than Moreno. He must have been the ‘test subject’, testing everything on himself while experimenting with different heights on the old ‘manually adjusted’ splint.
I have the new one. It is wonderful. Stop guessing WHAT WOULD change: simply MAKE the changes and correct yourself. You should have begun ‘treatment’ long ago instead of sitting and waiting. I feel simply blessed to have access to something affordable and so universal. My short answer: IT WORKS!
Next, man-style: short and clear.

Good heavens (it is actually written more rudely; I translated it more gently), this is powerful stuff. Moreno is a genius.

It is a bit annoying because talking is harder, but there is already such relief after all these years. I feel light.
Honestly, I do not know the person below (apparently this review is from Instagram or Twitter), but I will risk publishing it too: it describes the splint’s action very precisely.

I activated Starecta this morning. The effect was incredible. Immediately after activation I felt my back lengthen at once. Everything felt as though it was burning, but all the heavy sensations in my neck went away. It felt as though my shoulders took the right position and my head gained the support it should have. It is a little tiring that talking is difficult, but it is worth it. I have not felt this well in years. Complete relief.
Below is an excerpt from Moreno’s private correspondence, published with permission:

Hi, Moreno. I received everything, thank you for the enclosure. I have already begun feeling some changes. Blood started circulating better in my face, and my nose, congested for months, suddenly opened completely. There seem to be fewer tight spots in my neck when I wake up. I feel my scepticism has decreased noticeably. I will keep you updated.

My first competition with the Rectifier after using it for a month, and today was a good 10 km performance, better breathing, more balance… This is my very first podium, in third place… thank you!
Reading these accounts helps explain my interest in biomechanical treatments. I also published two anonymous Starecta accounts in the article about my observations of posture’s effect on the vertebral artery.
