Many people know the importance of ancestral practices for receiving support, protection and strength from the senior members of their Lineage. But most such practices take a great deal of energy. The practice of donation is very suitable for people who are ill or weakened and cannot also spend large amounts of energy cleansing their subtle body and ancestral energy field. Nevertheless, when performed correctly, it is very effective.
Many people have come to think that a donation must mean money. No. There are three types of donation, which we will discuss below:
1. Donating Time
One of the best donations of time is considered to be spreading knowledge about the importance of honouring one’s Lineage (to people who are ready for it—gently and kindly). It also includes helping orphans, older people, people with disabilities, women on their own and animals. You can go out and simply clean up an outdoor area. If you know for certain that one of your ancestors wronged a particular group of people, you can help that very group by donating your time.
For example, if a woman in your Lineage took a married man away from his family, leaving his wife alone with a child, you can visit a woman on her own and look after her child while she rests or goes out somewhere. If there were many aborted or abandoned children in your Lineage, you can go to a children’s home to play with the children or help in another way. If one of your ancestors injured someone, you can help people with disabilities. If animals were abused, you can go and walk animals at a shelter, clean its grounds or take an animal to a veterinary clinic. Donating time can take any form that speaks to your heart and that your present condition allows you to manage.
2. Donating Food
This means blessing food (as in the rice practice) and offering it to hungry people, or to animals and birds. Sometimes there is no opportunity or time to bless the food—for example, when you see a hungry dog or cat in the street. Then take the trouble simply to pop into a shop, buy it a sausage or some milk and feed the animal. In summer, you can simply give water to a dog suffering in the heat, and in winter crumble a little bread for chilled little sparrows.
3. Donating Money
You can donate money only if you earn it yourself. In that case, the amount of your donation should be about 10% of your income (you must not give away your last money, since you should give from abundance rather than drain yourself, but at the same time the donation should be an amount you notice). If you did not earn the money yourself, you must agree the donation with the person who gives it to you.
The recipient to whom you donate money must be checked! If you give money to fraudsters, such a ‘donation’ will bring no benefit to your Lineage. You can also make a donation to a specific group of people harmed by your ancestors, as we discussed above. In any case, donate as your heart tells you.
By the way, returning to the question of donating time—if you cannot donate money to shelters for homeless animals, you can like YouTube videos from these shelters or volunteers. When you watch a short advertisement in a video, they also receive a little money that goes toward helping the animals. Again, be sure that these really are shelters and volunteers (for example, a checked option is the YouTube channel of the well-known Alexander Mezentsev from Nizhnevartovsk, who treats animals, finds them caring homes and helps many shelters—and this is one of many ways to donate your time or, if you wish, money).

Important: Do not feel proud or think that you are helping someone. On the contrary, understand that these people or animals are helping you become brighter and purer. Also keep your donations of time, food or money secret—if you tell someone about them, the ‘good deed’ does not count. Act with love at these moments and remember why you are doing it. Before making a donation, say: ‘May the fruits of this donation go toward the healing, well-being and prosperity of my Lineage!’ or ‘toward women’s happiness and happy motherhood in my Lineage!’
